Below was a newly emerged fly that was seen on 21 March 2022 in my pot, the same day that I saw the above adult fly under the leaf of a Solanum americanum (Black Nightshade). It appeared that this fly laid their eggs in the moist soil in my pot as I had seen its whitish young fly in a few occasions.
